vdw 950 SteinSchutz plus 3 in 1. ready-to-use, water-based special impregnation for the hydrophobic and oleophobic treatment of natural stone and mineral, absorbent pavings. Reduces the binder film during the subsequent jointing of critical substrates with synthetic-resin-bound joint mortars.

Application

The surfaces to be treated must be completely dry, clean and free of soiling. Apply vdw 950 SteinSchutz plus 3 in 1 generously and evenly with a suitable brush or sponge. We recommend first decanting vdw 950 SteinSchutz into a suitable vessel and applying the material with a sponge. On slab pavings it is advisable to work slab by slab or row by row. Puddles or the formation of droplets must be avoided. Take up any remaining product surplus. This is particularly important on unevenly absorbent substrates, as staining may otherwise occur. Splashes on adjacent materials must be avoided or wiped off immediately with a damp cloth.

Aftercare For min. 5 hours (at 20 °C and 65 % relative humidity) after application, the surface treated with vdw 950 SteinSchutz plus 3 in 1 must be protected from moisture and soiling. After this, or once fully dried, the treated substrates can be jointed with vdw joint mortar.
