vdw 890 N 2K bedding mortar is a ready-mixed 2K epoxy resin bedding material for natural stone paving, slabs and clinker pavings on traffic areas. Ideally suited for bedding structures with low build heights.

Application
Requirements The substrate must be dimensioned in accordance with the expected traffic loads. The planned elevation, gradient and evenness must be ensured. Residue-free removal of any existing soiling.
Tools Forced-action mixer, mortar tub, paving line, spirit level, smoothing trowel, screed rail.
Material preparation Add the resin and hardener of the vdw 890 N bedding mortar binder component completely to Mineral aggregate MIX II and mix intensively. No water may be added to the finished mixture. Mixing time 5 minutes in a forced-action mixer, 5 minutes in a mortar tub with a forced-action stirrer. Unmixed constituents must not be processed.
Application A minimum air and object temperature of +7 °C is required for application. The substrate must be dry. Apply the prepared vdw 890 N bedding mortar to the base course, pre-spread it with a shovel and screed it off level to the appropriate thickness using screed rails. Lay the surface course hammer-tight.
Aftercare Cordon off the freshly laid surfaces for a period of at least 12 hours. After this, the surfaces can take foot traffic. Final traffic release of the surfaces after 7 days.
