Application

Requirements Sufficient surface strength of the asphalt or concrete substrate. Appropriate weather conditions, relative air humidity max. 80 %, object temperature from 15 °C and at least 3 °C above the prevailing dew-point temperature.

Tools Drill and mixing paddle, rubber squeegee, paint roller, shovel and broom.

Preparation Clean the substrate thoroughly and mask off the area to be coated with tape.

Material preparation Pour the binder components together and mix with a slow-running stirrer, mixing time at least 3 minutes.

Application Distribute the binder from the mixing vessel onto the area to be coated, or transfer it into a large-surface container to avoid heat of reaction. Apply the material directly with a roller, or pre-distribute it with a rubber squeegee and roll over it with the paint roller. Broadcast the blinding material evenly over the entire freshly coated area immediately. Remove the masking tape before hardening to ensure clean edges and transitions.

Sweeping Once the coating has hardened, collect the excess blinding material.

Aftercare The hardening time until traffic release is approx. 5 hours at 20 °C. Freshly applied coatings are to be protected from rain until cured.
